Yes. HTH.

ShinyBandana · 10/09/2023 15:32

He should get it checked out. It’s most likely to be an enlarged prostrate but could be other things that would need treatment

GettingStuffed · 10/09/2023 15:32

He's getting to the age when the prostate starts playing up, increasing urine passing but mainly at night. It's also a sign of type 2 diabetes. Don't think that only overweight people with bad diets get it it can affect anyone with the correct gene.

loislovesstewie · 10/09/2023 15:44

He needs a check up, it could be nothing, could be T2 diabetes, could be his prostate, could be kidney problems, but he needs to get it checked.

Prelapsarianhag · 10/09/2023 15:55

Check it out. Its probably just prostate, but my DH had these symptoms and it was bladder cancer - he survived but it was nasty.

jlpth · 10/09/2023 15:56

I'd get it checked. Symptom of type 2 diabetes.

GoryBory · 10/09/2023 16:44

I think at any age if you start passing urine more you should get it checked out just in case.

MidnightOnceMore · 10/09/2023 16:48

Normal in many cases, serious in some, should be checked as a warning sign for cancer, diabetes etc.

Thatladdo · 10/09/2023 17:25

Yes, hes done well to last this long TBH

Privatelyliving · 10/09/2023 17:30

Yes, but it should still be checked out.

10HailMarys · 10/09/2023 17:35

It’s common for older men to wee more often because of harmless prostate changes, but it should always be checked out in case it’s something else, like a more serious prostate condition, or diabetes, or a bladder/urinary tract problem. He should see a GP.
