I have been chatting OLD with this guy for a month online he travel a lot so we never meet in real life and to be honest I like him but I don’t expect anything in terms of relationship as our conversation was a mix of flirt and general life stuff, I can image him as friend but no expectation. He message an hour ago saying been a while do you want to meet for drink? I do want to meet only seeing this as meeting my friend and not potential boyfriend.
with my previous date it has always been planned, but this spontaneous is ok but I’m just worried is it seen as him wanting sex. I never done ONS and wouldn’t consider doing it now? What do you think? Should I go, is he wanting sex? We never flirt in any sexual way

I would go. You are going out for a drink. If he suggests going back to his, etc, and you aren't comfortable with it, then go home after the drinks. Sometimes, the spontaneous nights out are the best! Enjoy and have fun!

Obviously, go to a bar, and if you feel uncomfortable at any point, just make an excuse to go home. Give your friend a code message to phone you for a get out plan if needed but if he wants to meet for a drink he's probably just suggesting a casual drink together since it's Saturday and the sun's out (well here anyway)
