The feeling I'm describing is a positive one. It's when you really fancy someone and then you both share a positive moment together and then your heart kinda of goes "gooey" and "mushy" and you feel this wave of affection towards them. I just remember this really nice feeling in my chest area and feeling totally smitten.

Honestly I've only ever felt this once in my life.

I'm also wondering if this has a name.

Hormones. It doesn't really stay the same, unfortunately.

Ah ok. Thanks for the responses. Only reason I ask if that I've only felt this feeling once in my life so far. (Like once where it was super super strong and I felt overcome with affection towards them)

Now that I've thought about it. I've felt it for 2 people. A 6th form crush and a uni crush.

The first time I felt it, it was the strongest and it was because they were laughing hysterically at something I said.

I could describe it as a "blush for the heart"
