To be looking forward to autumn

I know we haven’t had much of a summer this year but the heat this last few days has been too much! I love autumn walks and cosy jumpers etc. Any one else looking forward to it?

Me too, absolutely roasting right now. It’s too hot to do anything and impossible to sleep. Yesterday people were asking the driver to let them off the bus while we were stuck in traffic so they didn’t keel over.

I love the moderate temperatures you get in autumn and summer. I don’t love the darkness but we are going on holiday in November to break it up a bit and then it’s Christmas season and then we’re past the solstice and it’ll start getting lighter again.

I can't wait to sleep under a duvet again!
