Newbuild fence

My husband and I have recently bought a fairly expensive newbuild - at the upper end of developers when it comes to quality. We have a lovely big garden that isn’t overlooked, but annoyingly they have left one side of fencing as a worn looking 10 year old fence, with the other sides all brand new. It looks a bodge. We have complained and got nowhere - they have been and painted it today as ‘a gesture of goodwill’ but it looks even worse. We are feeling totally mugged off and it’s ruining the enjoyment of living in what is otherwise a really lovely house. Would you suck it up and pay to replace the old panels? I can’t help but think we shouldn’t have to do this in a newbuild property.

I’d suck it up and put the fence I want in.

Thanks, that’s what I think too. My husband can’t get over the ‘but we shouldn’t have to replace a fence for a newbuild’ argument!
