New job

Hi all,

I have started a new job and just unsure what to think.
I wanted to leave my last job as I was part time 3 days a week and doing a full time position and just over worked and underpaid I work in hr and was classed as an 'assistant' whilst doing a hr advisor role.
I decided to look elsewhere, landed a job and negotiated a great salary.

I have started and just can't believe the lack of work. This is a much smaller organisation with less than 50 staff who I am responsible for, not many problems and just very chill.
My previous employer I had 150 staff to look after, multiple grievances, disciplinaries, investigations and absence issue
Workplace morale was at an all time low and I spent majority of my day working over my scheduled time to get the job done and just speaking to colleagues.

Onto the aibu, aibu to feel abit meh ?

I'm used to a fast paced environment, unsure how I feel, my old manager has already said she will take me back but I'd be back to being overworked and on a low wage.
My new job I have the correct title and correct pay but not alot of work to do.
Maybe it's because I'm still new but with less than 50people
Aibu to feel like tbis ? Has anyone else felt like this before ?

Ok there's no problems to solve.
Maybe you've been hired to help people with professional development.
Just a thought, if you're sitting around waiting for something to happen, your employer might be looking at you the same way. 😉
