Of course you should go. Covid should be treated the same as any other illness - if you feel up to it, do it. If you don’t, don’t.

Could you not ring your counsellor? If it was me, I wouldn't knowingly put myself in close contact with anyone knowing I had Covid. You have no idea whether she has very vulnerable family members who might be put at risk if she catches it from you.

It's a he. I'll ring him in a second when his last person comes out.

I actually feel like he gave it to me as he said a few weeks ago he got ill on holiday but was 'no longer infectious'. Its the first time I've ever had it and ita been horrible.

V bad for my mental h3alth and weight has plummeted. I feel like if I see him I'll be trying to make him feel guilty.

If you knew you had covid and had a face to face an appointment approaching surely it would have been easier to have called ahead of time and arranged to have this session over the phone or even virtually?

Ultimately I know we no longer have to test or disclose etc and that's fine but the choice should be his if you are still testing positive. I would at the very least wear a mask. You've absolutely no evidence that he gave you covid so I'm really not sure why you'd be making him feel guilty or how that would be an appropriate or beneficial use of the session either way.
