How to scan something (please help!)

Hi, I’m absolutely hopeless at this and I’ve managed to get myself completely confused.

I’ve got some paperwork (10 separate documents) which I need to scan and make into a single pdf. Apparently we’re not allowed to take photographs of it and add the photos onto a document as the quality isn’t great if it’s a photo and it needs to actually be scanned. I don’t have a scanner but there’s scanning apps (adobe scan etc) that apparently use the camera to scan and the quality is better than a normal photo but then once I’ve scanned them all I need to put them all together into one pdf and I’m absolutely hopeless. I could burst into tears! Does anyone have any apps etc they could recommend or has anyone ever done this? TIA. I have an iPhone, an iPad and a MacBook and nothing else. Normally I would go to the library but can’t this week so I’m going to need to use what I’ve got and use the apps I’m just completely hopeless with it all x

You can do it on your iPhone Notes app

open a new note
Click the camera at the button and choose ‘scan documents’
Then send the note to yourself by email

Scan the object and copy and paste it into a word document - so this with all the documents and then save as a PDF

Download an app on your phone like simple scanner.

Get the adobe scan app, it will open the camera and scan the first page, then you just press ‘keep scanning’ and do all the pages, then press ‘done’ when you’ve done them all. It will save it as one PDF with multiple pages, and give you the option to email it to yourself/anyone else or do various other things with it.

hopefully pic attached of my Doritos just to show you what the adobe scan app looks like and how easy it is to ‘keep scanning’. Once you’ve scanned all your pages with your phone camera the app will crop any edges, sharpen up the text etc so it all looks perfect.

Google do a scan app too

Camscanner is brilliant for this stuff and there's a free version. It'll combine it all into one pdf for you automatically

Your iphone can do it.
open the 'notes app'
click on the camera icon
click on 'scan documents'
follow the prompts
once scanned you can save the scan in the format you want (PDF) and email them to whoever you want. Or save them to your files On your phone
