I have 3 DC starting uni this year, DS who took a gap year, DD and DSS. All different unis, all in uni provided accomodation.
DD seems to have got lucky as her room has lots of storage (wardrobe, with 2 drawers, desk with 6 drawers (3 wide enough to be a chest of drawers basically), small double ottoman bed, cupboard in bathroom, plenty of hooks and bookshelf surrounding the desk with 8 shelfs all in) and all the rooms in her accomodation have all of this.
DSS is liveable especially as he doesn't have much, but it's a struggle (single bed, wardrobe, half shelved, Desk with shelves and 3 drawers. Some rooms seem to also have more drawers but we aren't counting on it.
DS has a single bed, desk, two drawers, 3 shelves and a small wardrobe.
He plays sports and has a lot of kit so no idea how it will all fit.
AIBU thinking it's crazy how little storage some of the accommodations have? Anyone know why this is? Have DS and DSS just got unlucky and DD is the norm or other way around? Driving me mad!!
