To ask child's dad this...

Co parenting my child with my ex.
Aibu to ask him to send her home in the clothes/shoes I send in her over night bag?

The reason why I ask that he does this is -

  • we have very different styles
  • don't like getting his stuff muddled up with mine
  • he's pulled me up in the past when I've not sent something back, cba with that
  • most of the clothes he busy don't fit them properly and don't want to be getting her redressed when she comes home

We get on OK but if he has an opportunity to pull me up on anything or make me look like a bad person he will. I don't want to be unreasonable, but at the same time it's just easier for him to dress her in clothes from home when I collect him in the morning.

Child is under 5, not like I'm dictating what a grown up child wants to wear!

You could ask him to do that, but if he says no, I'd just say ok, no problem.

Completely reasonable. I coparent my dc and this is the usual arrangement. They go to the other parent dressed in whatever they were wearing when they arrived. If that's not possible then the clothes are put in a bag and sent bag with them.
It is annoying when a piece of really nice clothing disappears into the other parent's house.
