I would love the money, big, close family, exciting life…but not the fame

I know it’s all pretty shallow and crap, who’s your favourite though?

I do enjoy the show occasionally but god no, they never seem to be having fun. Always on their phones and being awful to each other. And they have the worst taste in men

pollykitty · 01/09/2023 21:36

I know it’s tv but they seem to hang out a lot and are relatively close as a family. That’s the only thing I wish I had. I don’t have any sisters, only two older brothers and we are not close. My dad is the only person who calls me to see how I am. I wish I had an extended family to count on and/or do things with, even one that bickered.

They have blood on their hands. Not only have they massively distorted beauty standards they've lied about their plastic surgeries. Convincing millions of young girls they too can be "slim thicc" by "killing themselves in the gym".

Shame on them.

Kourtney Kardashian recently came out with a product which is supposed to improve the taste of vaginas. I was appalled. Once again weaponising women's bodies and insecurities for profit. When is enough, enough?

Shame on them.

I dunno Kim was pretty much the turning point in the early 00s away from the size 00 trend in Hollywood. Sure her body was still unobtainable to the majority but at least it started to turn the tide away from genuinely anorexic celebrities.

blahblahblah1654 · 01/09/2023 21:39

No. They can't maintain relationships and don't seem very intelligent. All the surgery looks painful. The money would be nice but not the rest.

JamSandle · 01/09/2023 21:40

No, only the money!

Tattyhabits · 01/09/2023 21:43

No.

KrisAkabusi · 01/09/2023 21:44

Christ no. The world would be much better off without them.

TeenLifeMum · 01/09/2023 21:44

Nope, I’d rather be poor. The whole celeb culture does nothing for me.

PrinceHaz · 01/09/2023 21:44

No. I’d hate to be in their heads. I’d like their money though.

Tattyhabits · 01/09/2023 21:50

Caveat. Only enough of their money to buy my lovely, hard working daughter the security of her own little flat, so that she no longer has to live in fear of losing her home (and the stress of finding another) with only 8 weeks notice.

ohfook · 01/09/2023 21:57

No they are all very beautiful and seem quite savvy and they have money that I could never dream of, but there doesn't seem to be one of them in a happy relationship; for whatever reason they are unable to maintain one. They have a mum who sells them out to the highest bidder. A life based on constantly controlling/manipulating what other people are saying about you just totally based on external validation. They seem mistrustful of each other and I always feel that even though they're 100x more beautiful than I'll ever be, all the filters and procedures make it seem like it'll never be enough. It's no way to live.

Littleoxforddictionary · 01/09/2023 21:57

It looks absolutely EXHAUSTING to be them, and for what? More an more money when you already have everything you need and want. All the events with billions of balloons . . . Its just so superficial.

VictoriaVenkman · 01/09/2023 21:59

No. A heck of a lot of hard work and no privacy, ever!

DoggoMcDogface · 01/09/2023 22:01

They think surrogacy is ok. Awful people.

I’d love an extended family but sadly I barely have any past dh and kids as most have passed away and I’m an only child.
i have no desire to be a Kardashian though!!

CassiniG · 01/09/2023 22:07

Have you heard them speak? Kylie is utterly gormless. It's embarrassing.

How do they wipe their butt holes after going to the toilet? No way can Kym or Kylies arms reach around their inflated buttocks to be able to wipe properly.

polokiss · 01/09/2023 22:09

Not my scene, I'd take the money but I don't like their style or the drama.

Meowandthen · 01/09/2023 22:11

I don’t fancy the lobotomy.

The whole lot are a waste of skin. Not a clue why people are so interested in this dreadful family.

Hawkins0009 · 01/09/2023 22:13

I'm not one for the fame, the bank balance would be appreciated

VeloVixen · 01/09/2023 22:13

If I had to be one it’d probably be Robert! 😂. Seems the most sensible

BarelyLiterate · 01/09/2023 22:15

Of course not. I don’t watch their TV shows or follow them on social media but, being middle aged & well educated, I’m hardly in the target demographic.

My understanding, based obviously on limited knowledge, is that the mother is in charge. She appears to be very shrewd, having turned her daughters into commodities & led the way in exploiting & monetising social media at scale. In doing so the family has become very wealthy while inventing the concept of ‘influencing’. Smart lady.

VeloVixen · 01/09/2023 22:15

I’d like to be able to spend my days hanging out with friends, going to gym, out for lunch, nice house, no money worries.

but aren’t they bored with the shallowness of their lives? I’d like it for a while and then get bored. Guess kylie runs a successful business (?) and Kendal models so they maybe have more going on.

lljkk · 01/09/2023 22:21

Truth be told I don't know enough about them. What do they actually do all day?

(?) KimK has studied to become a lawyer with huge discipline: I can admire that.

Most of their lifestyles look dull & unrewarding, though.

Here is someone tried to replicate their daily life and... almost all I could learn from that is what they eat or drink. Seriously? That's it? They barely sleep, do 11 minute workouts, moisturise a lot, & flog green juice meals? Even this profile seems to be mostly about the meals.

Empresstea · 01/09/2023 22:27

What exactly are they?

KingOfThieves · 01/09/2023 22:28

No. I wouldn’t call them a close family, it thrives on toxicity, popularity and drama. It’s a business. A modern day, real life, barbie franchise. Not a family.

Not exciting either. The whole thing looks like a lot of hard work. I am sure they do work hard, very hard. But it seems like there is little break between work, family and filming and at the cost of family, privacy, anonymity, security, etc. Never ever. I’d worry for my kids especially.
