Should I go on date with him

I have been chatting with this guy for 3 weeks now he’s asks on several occasions for a date and I kind of blank and moves to another topic. I don’t want to be rude and unmatch him. He is very respectful with messages and got a good job. Reasons I don’t want to meet him and move forward is
he’s 46 and has a 8 year old.
I'm 37 single parent daughter 7. Feel joining family will be hard work.

Here’s my problem for him to get to that age and never married seem he never want to be married.

I would like to be married and have another child ( if it doesn’t happen is not a problem) and from my experience older guy would date and have fun but never fully commit like marriage.

I feel if I decide to be in a relationship with 46 year old there children should at least be almost adult like 17!

Why on earth are you still chatting with him if you have no intention of meeting him?!

He fundamentally doesn’t match your criteria so yes, unmatch. What a waste of time!

You don’t have to date anyone you don’t want to, but by not wanting to appear rude, you’re actually being very rude indeed. You’ve got no intention of meeting him so just do the decent thing and stop wasting his time.

Also, I mean this with kindness, but your circumstances don’t sound very different from his. Perhaps you should specify that you don’t want anyone in the same boat as you.

No, don’t go on a date with the poor man! Stop stringing him along for goodness sake, why on earth did you even match with him in the first place if he’s not what you’re looking for?!
