I have done something childish and I don't care

End of week 2 holidaying in a remote French village, in a small campsite.

There is one toilet block building but the cubicles inside are marked dames / hommes, so there is sex segregation.

For the whole time I've been here the same bloke has been using the Dames side. Not because the hommes side was full, just because he wanted to (I did ask in my bad French the 3rd time I encountered him coming out of the women's and he did le shrug and he said something about les dames est plus propre).

Anyway, I have been mildly annoyed at this. Today when I saw him close the door on his Dames shower cubicle I took his flip flops from outside of the door and threw them in the hedge behind the toilet block. I might have had some vin rouge prior to the incident.

(Also, the owners do not care in case anyone says I should have taken it through Proper Channels.)

This is not a feminist issue but one of l'espace. There are x2 loos /douches per sex and he's causing queues on our side.

Les petits enfants are trying to dislodge the flip-flops with sticks. They are très spirited.

@TheClitterati (or should that be LaClitterati) there is le signe which says les chausseurs sont interdits in the shower cubicles, hence I have been able to monitor his giant footwear outside the ladies's showers most days. Making me seethe. He is actually quite a small man, very hairy except for the top of his head, with comically large feet, definitely not to be mistaken for a ladies' shoe.
