To make a noise complaint

House directly behind our house has recently been bought by a single young person.

For months now there's building work going on. Which is fine, can generally cope with that.

But the last two weeks they have clubland music blaring from 8/9am right through until 3/4pm. It's relentless.

I'm a night shift worker (13 hour shifts) and I'm getting zero sleep, I know that's not their fault I work nights,

But surely 5/6 hours of loud music all day everyday is not acceptable?

Not very approachable unfortunately as I tried to have a word when they removed the fence between our gardens (meaning my little dog can escape easily now) to ask if they planned on replacing it anytime soon so I could try and sort something for our side. And was told to fuck off...

So my next step is reporting to the council? Or am I being a dick?
