Any MN electricians??

So the electricians screwed the installation of the upstairs/ downstairs switch on a whole house rewire. It’s been about a year. I thought I would get used to it. And I do remember 90% of the time but the remaining 10% of the time gives me increasing rage!

I have been googling for ways to solve this without a rewire as we have brick walls which would need chasing and everything is plastered and carpeted. I can’t go back to that nightmare of dust.

The internet says these two things work without wires. Is this miracle true!!!

I'm not an electrician, but understand just enough. Without knowing details it sounds like they've wired one part of a circuit direct to a bulb instead of creating a circuit on the upstairs downstairs switches, so left an essential piece of wire out when they rewired.

PS, or they don't understand how to wire it properly! Either way the 'electricians' should be coughing up for it!
