I was thinking of applying for a teaching role I've seen but I don't understand this part of the advert (good start already!). Please could someone explain how much the salary is.

Does anyone know what this means?

I think it just means that they will pay you for the 35 weeks but spread across the whole year.

Well, it’s somewhere in that range depending on your experIence/band. It’s a FT job, so they didn’t really need to say the FTE salary, but that is the salary.

@bridgetreilly

Oh ok, that makes sense. I didn't understand why they put FTE if the job was already FT.

My salary would be at the lower end of that range but thanks for clarifying.

They might just put FTE as standard on job adverts since many school jobs are part-time and/or term-time only. Or it's been copy/pasted from a part time ad and not edited properly.
