Feel guilt at leaving care

For the past couple of years I've worked in 0 hours contracts as a care assistant, both in domiciliary and residential.
I'm now leaving for a salaried office job with career progression, and many more benefits such as a better pension and sick pay/maternity pay.
I feel guilt at leaving the clients I look after. Would be interested to know if anyone is working in care in a half decent place!
I'm with one agency who are quite good but they can only offer me up to 15h per week.
One of my jobs last week sent me several miles away to a client's home at 10pm at night, because of my rota there was no way of going any earlier. The client was angry on my behalf and said she'd be complaining to the company.
Most care jobs seem to have poor conditions unfortunately. I feel guilt at leaving the clients, they deserve better.
Carers have to leave calls early because their next call is 25 minutes away but they're allocated zero travel time, it's not right.
I just feel guilt at leaving these people, even though I have to do what is right for me. It's an emotionally taxing role. Has anybody been in or currently in a care role with decent pay and conditions?
