What can I claim back?

Posting for traffic and Google is confusing me...

My flight this afternoon got cancelled. In a hotel and have a 7am flight tomorrow. Know I can claim the hotel cost back.

Can I claim back food / drinks in the hotel?

We were given paltry vouchers when ours was delayed 5 hours due to pilot sickness. Haven’t started the laborious process of claiming compensation back yet though…

Our evening flight back from Paris was cancelled due to the weather at Heathrow. They paid for our hotel and breakfast, and evening drinks but not alcohol. No compensation as it was weather related and out of their control.

Thanks both. Nobody from BA actually told me anything 🤦🏻‍♀️ but from the chatters around the lounge, annoyingly its weather related (plane stuck in Spain due to wind) so no compo (I'll stick a claim in anyway 🤣).

Annoying as I don't have a lot of toiletries either so need to go and spend on that, plus coming back into a different airport with bigger travel cost to get home.

Having dinner at the hotel and will definitely put that receipt through.
