Could someone advise me please. My husband has bupa cover due to him going to Australia with work he cancelled it. A week later the job fell through. He wants to reinstate his bupa and make a claim immediately (it has only been cancelled for twelve days) is this possible

Check your policy but I highly doubt it. The cover will have ceased when he cancelled and even if he restarts it there will probably be an exclusion period. He needs to ring them but I wouldn’t hold my breath

I would have thought 'no', certainly not as the same policy. His health claim will then be an existing issue, so I doubt they would cover it. It would need to be discovered after the new policy has been in place for long enough (often, several weeks, but I don't know about Bupa).
