another edit: I wonder how long it lasts or if it disappears after some time like on some sites. One of the ones I'm on, you have 24 hours to edit a post, then the button disappears.

autocorrect issue?

this was more urgent tbh. Then they will get more traffic as we spend more time re-correcting our changed words by their autocorrection.

yeah, I did mean to add regardless if it showed 'edited'. people go on and on to force words or meaning on other's words- so annoying.

I just say' Sorry...Happy?' just to bloody move on.

Those on the app will be waiting a while. According to MN's update yesterday the app upgrade is a huge project taking some time.

Already you can't quote quoted posts on the app - which I don't mind as think the endless quoting gets really irritating and much prefer c&p relevant text & bold, then reply. But on the app, quoted posts of quoted posts only show the first post & latest quote so often don't make sense (and lead to rows when other posters don't realise there was another post or posts in between.

I much prefer the app. I really don't like the desktop site with its myriad of pointless features. I dread to think what the next iteration of the app will be.

But i have a question...why would i want to edit my post, is it for reading your post after its been posted and going back in and checking your spelling or is it for deleting stuff you posted maybe ages ago as its not something you now want online?
