I'm fed up with working, I have to work full-time like most people. I'm doing extra hours where I can to build up savings, I've had no annual leave since 1st April (had 5 days off). Since then, I've never had more than 2 days off at once. This week I am working 7 days, fortunately I have a week off starting from next Wednesday.
My job is very physical too which doesn't help, I've just started to dread working, I'm on 43 hours this week.
I know there will be someone coming on saying that's nothing they do 90 hours a week, but it's subjective and I feel that 43 is more than enough.
I'm moving to an office-based hybrid remote job in a month from now and I'm hoping that will help, it'll also be 5 days per week.
Is anyone else just feeling fed up, burnt out and tired. I'm only in my early 30s too, I've got a long time left of working.
There is a massive moral issue around working in the UK, people are shamed if they do anything less than full time (unless they're also raising children or other caring responsibilities)
