Would it annoy you?

For 6 years I lived in a really boring place. I speak to one friend every day on WhatsApp, but she never came to visit me. She didn't event arrange to meet me in the big city near where ibwas living, we net there once because she was on a work trip. Otherwise we met when I went to visit her where she lived

Now I live somewhere truly great and she has dropped 4 or 5 hints about coming to visit. Yesterday she flat out asked if she could come and stay.

Would this piss you off? I do like her but feel like this side of her is annoying as fuck and I kind of want to cut my nose off to spite my face

I don't know whether this would annoy much or not -me think it'd depend on what the friend was like generally. You speak to her every day on WA so are presumably quite close to her. What were her excuses for not coming to visit you in the other place?

She said it was because I was living with my then boyfriend, but I don't really see the difference, we had a big place.

Yes this would annoy me too. Did she feel uncomfortable around your boyfriend? Maybe that was an issue for her?
Either way the hint dropping would be enough to annoy me.
