What’s it actually like?

im a healthy weight but would like to use 2/3 kg to feel better about myself. How much weight did you lose?

i know it’s a 12 month contract which makes me feel a bit nervous, what happens if you cancel the DD in that time? Wil

I joined a couple of years ago now, only for the one year, but sometimes still try and follow the plan myself, I've lost a total of 4 stone 5lbs , it is very much calories in v calories out, which does make sense, he is a bit of a dick though, and I think he plays up to that more than ever as his Facebook followers seem to enjoy it.
I'm not a fan of mfp either.
I think for £6.99 a month its not bad value, and gets you on track with healthier eating/keeping in a healthycalorie range (I've never weighed myself daily or counted medicine, thats crazy )
You can do it yourself with a calorie tracker app

BashfulClam · 21/08/2023 22:39

Check trust pilot and you’ll get your answer. I’m doing it for free using the nhs free calorie app, lost 3 stone since June with it. Follow Sean Casey on Facebook/instagram.

I cancelled and they sent debt collectors after me.

I argued & ignored and they went away. It never did show on my credit report.

Theres a tattle thread on him if you fancy a read

I don’t know what tattle is?

I found it good- it’s calories in vs calories out so pretty basic stuff but I found the support helpful.
RH isn’t for everyone but I found the method worked even though the calories seemed high. My friend ditched SW for it and finally lost weight after years of yo-yo dieting.
There’s a lot of weighing food which is a pita to be fair

HaveImadeabooboo · 21/08/2023 22:51

Last month I’ve been calorie tracking and doing 7k steps a day (wfh so struggling to get more) and I’ve not lost anything. I just fluctuate down and then back up.

im still breastfeeding don’t know if that makes a difference but it is not moving. I’ve doing 1300 cals a day. I had awful bloating which has gone but the scale is not moving

im 5’3 and 58kg

Try 'the diet chef', he's a lovely guy and is honest about weightloss. You can find him on Facebook/insta.

He does a monthly thing, with a really good tracking app, LOTS of really really recipes etc

This team RH seems awful. The guy is a dick and his followers can be cultish.

sequin2000 · 21/08/2023 23:28

I'm on it and it's working but slowly as I'm rubbish with the protein and fibre and don't have loads to lose. I like the straight talking and honest approach. The argument is that you get all the macros worked out for you and access to the support so wouldn't be fair if you cancelled after paying just 6.99. It's a lot cheaper than SW etc. Yes you can do it yourself, but I find the app and logging of weight every day motivating. The tik tok or facebook videos help me to stay motivated but you don't need to watch them if you prefer not to hear the sweary home truths. I've spent years on diets but this is one that I see as a lifestyle and the logic is sound.

Has anyone ever had debt collectors come to their door or legal action taken against them for cancelling the direct debit? I've seen a lot of posts about debt collectors, threats, nasty emails, but does anyone have any experiences apart from that.

startyourengines · 28/05/2024 19:55

Don't. That is all

TheOtherSide21 · 28/05/2024 20:30

As an ex fitness fanatic I gave it a try after years of being off the wagon - I didn’t agree with the calories / macros / exercises set, and found the content to be a bit gimmicky.

I went back and set my own calories / macros / exercise and managed fine. I like Sean Casey / James Smith for fitness content. James Smith is very dry humoured but not as derogatory, and his explanations are excellent / he calls out differences where they do count.

Reopening this thread for some VERY useful info.
Former CX employee here, I can confirm their number 1 goal is not to help you but to bleed you dry.
How to cancel your contract without threats of debt collection?
Well, very easily actually:
They do NOT go through debt collection however if you just tell them that you or someone in your family has cancer or died, they'll let you go without requesting any proof.
You're welcome!

Also wanted to add, they're so called coaches, most of them didn't get their qualifications until later in the years. Coach Justine is just a customer service agent, no coaching qualification (on op of having an unbearable accent but that's another story). She isn't a coach and not qualified to give you a device!! This needs to be challenged!
