To ask if anyone has actually lost 7-10 lbs in 3 weeks?

Just that...
You see all those diet plans with the claim of losing 7-10 lbs in 3 weeks and looking lots better.

Has anyone done this in real life? If so how? And did you actually slim down/look or feel better? Fit into a specific outfit etc or make a real change?

(A friends wedding in 3/4 weeks and would love to feel and look better). Size 14 5ft3 and sedentary job not by choice but by nature!

ive just lost 13lb in 3 weeks doing the fast 800 diet and exercising (gym class) three times a week. I’ve gone from 12 stone 5 to 11 stone 6. It’s definitely doable but you have to be super disciplined and motivated.

The only time this has ever happened for me I was extremely stressed and unable to eat due to grief. No diet has ever worked that quickly when I've been happy.

Crash dieting really doesn't work.

As PPs have said, it depends how much weight you have to lose in the first place. At a size 14 you're not hugely overweight so the loss will (and should) be slower than for someone who is clinically obese.

I started Slimming World just under 4 weeks ago, I have a lot of weight to lose (BMI over 35) and in the first 3 weeks I lost 8.5 pounds, but I'm fully expecting that to slow down considerably, and I'd rather lose slowly and keep it off.

Easily and more besides. 800 calories a day, New You Plan (high protein space food, basically!).
It’s not particularly sustainable but I wouldn’t hesitate to do it pre-holiday/special event, to give my ‘sensible’ weight loss plan a boost.
