Anyone working in a school going back in 2 weeks?

I work in schools and am starting to get ‘the fear’ as we only have 2 weeks of holidays left! It’s really silly as I very much enjoy my job, but because I’ve been off work for what feels such a long time, I feel anxiety at this point every year! I worry I’ve forgotten how to do my job - again I know it’s silly as I’ve been doing my job for over 20 years and as soon as I go back I slip straight back in with no problems.

I’m self employed so it’ll be great to earn some money again, but my rational mind has taken a back seat as my anxiety has taken over!

I wondered if anyone can relate who has to take long periods of time off work?

Same here. Love my job (primary teacher and SLT) but getting butterflies thinking about going back to work.
I love the hols but also enjoy being back to routine in Sept. Not looking forward to how full-on the first term is getting to grips with a new class etc. And we are expecting Ofsted too so all good fun.
