Too many to choose from... how does one go about it without trying them all?
I have shoulder-length thick, wavy hair that tends to explode horizontally and be a bit dull with lots of baby hairs. Looking for something that will dry it quickly and add some shine.

All the reviews talk about styles etc but I'm pass that point. I just want my hair to look like something other than a heavily used mop. Straight, curls whatever doesn't matter.

Budget up to £80

Thanks!

Thanks for the link. I don't understand though why would I need to dry my hair first? That defeats the purpose.

Maybe I've used the wrong term. But I'm looking for something that dries and styles at the same time

I am generally rubbish at styling my hair but got one of these for Christmas and it really helps. I can use it after towel drying. There might be a more updated version but this one has been quick for me to use.

Great thanks!
How long does it usually take? How long/thick is your hair?

@Scrumptiousspongecake @MrsPelligrinoPetrichor thanks for the recommendation

There seem to be loads of 'one-steps' which one exactly do you mean?

One step volumiser.

You need to dry your hair with a hairdryer first with any of these tools though and just finish off with the styler or you'll end up with fried hair.

@CrystalCascade I've shoulder length hair quite thick and prone to frizz. I wrap in towel after washing and when when about 70% dry I start to style which takes about 15/20 mins depending how thorough im being.i like that I don't have to use a hairdryer first but the controls do take a bit of getting used to and you may get more use from the revlon.

Has that been your experience? that's not what the instructions say - just to towel dry

Great, thanks, sounds a bit like my hair.
Comtrols should be OK. I'm just worried about it not working or taking more than 20 mins.
Wonder if I can order one and return if it doesn't work

I suppose it depends on your dair my hair is too thick to do that and unless your hair is really thin I really wouldn't as you'll end up with damage as it gets hot. It's a styler rather than drier, same as the Babyliss Big Hair which ruined my hair due to all the pulling.
