Turned him down

And now he is being nasty to me. He has messaged calling me a slag and a bitch and when I see him out and about as we live near each other, he is smirking and laughing at me and I can tell he is saying things about me to his mates.

Bullet dodged

Turned him down for what? Who is he?

Littlecovid · 19/08/2023 12:28

Block, ignore and thank your lucky stars that you did turn him down.

Banaramaa · 19/08/2023 12:30

A guy who lives near me and he asked me on a date, he got my number off a guy who I know who is friends with him and I politely declined and now he’s turned nasty. He lives very close and has parking incredibly close to my car, I think on purpose

I'd keep any/all messages he sends you. Maybe send him one that clearly and unemotionally tells him to stop. If he continues to message you after that, call the police.

Not much you can do about what he might say to his mates, but does it matter?

The parking thing will be very hard to prove if he's parking close to his own house.

Do you have a Ring doorbell?

Summer2424 · 19/08/2023 12:39

Hi @Banaramaa
Take screenshots of any horrible messages and if he parks close to your car again take a picture of it.

Hopefully he'll get over it soon and move on! x

Absolemsbong · 19/08/2023 13:06

What a loser….don’t even give it the headspace and block the number.

Agree with pp to keep the messages.

TheAOEAztec · 19/08/2023 13:43

Send the screenshot to the guy who gave him your number and remind him that numbers shouldn't be shared without agreement.

A thousand times this. What on earth did he pass it on for?

Absolutely this!

And also keep screenshots in case it escalates further and you report it.

Comedycook · 19/08/2023 13:47

Don't respond to him. Keep all the messages though and report him to the police. He sounds deranged.

BMW6 · 19/08/2023 14:06

Don't respond in any way, keep screenshots of his messages and if he keeps doing it after a week contact the police.

He sounds about 15.

Reggiebo · 19/08/2023 14:12

Gracies law UK. Please speak to the police.

AtrociousCircumstance · 19/08/2023 14:13
