Always the same type of dog.

Always the same type of owner.

Very sad to hear about this. Never remember anything like this when I was younger/a child.

Another ‘XL bully’ mauled a woman pushing a buggy, too. Eight people have been killed by that breed in the last few years since it’s invention, and monthly, if not more frequent maulings.

Will name change after this as outing but this one is close to home. I own the house in the left of the picture and my tenant was first on the scene. He has hopefully saved the man's life as he managed to get the dogs off him and tried to stop the bleeding. The dogs were still being aggressive when the police arrived and next to the car park at the back of the house is a children's play park. The injuries are life threatening. Such a horrible thing to happen. The man was walking a spaniel and the dogs attacked the spaniel and the man tried to save his dog. The two dogs in question got out quite regularly and had been reported as being aggressive. They were once found outside a school at school pick up time. 100% the owners fault

This must be awful when it happens right on your doorstep.

It makes me think we should be allowed to carry tasers it seems they are more of a threat than stranger humans

HappiestSleeping · 18/08/2023 20:17

@forgotmyusername1 the news article wasn't sure of the breed. Are you able to confirm or deny?

Regardless, it's pretty shit, and down to bad owners. The few who spoil it for the many, fairly disastrously.

A man in his 70s innocently walking his own dog, that could have been my dad and not as fit and able to fight back. Heartbreaking.

It’s fucking shocking this is going on but if a lion got loose from the zoo we’d all be under house arrest in the local area.

They were two rottweilers

Dogs out and not under controlling, reported but no action talented that forced the feckless owner to stop...

A 5 year old girl has been disfigured for life after stroking "with the owners of permission". A mini bully dog. Her dad owns two xls.

Why do the dog attack posts always appear in AIBU? I am being genuine, I don't think anyone will say YABU. Just seems to be a constant stream of "another dog attack" threads with just a link to an article.
