To not want to go as Ken to a Barbie party?

DH and I have been invited to his friends Barbie party. DH and another male friend have thought it would be great fun if they each dressed up as Barbie and the wives as Ken.

So DH is now trying to force me to go as Ken. This includes me buying a new mens outfit as he is going to borrow my dress. I don't wan to go as Ken. I want to be Barbie!

This is spot on.... the qhole fricking point of the movie is that Ken is the oppressed, over looked one, who only has meaning in context of Barbie... in Barbie world... unlike the real world .. where women are.

He is insisting that you play the role of the oppressed over looked one.... with meaning only in context of what he is dressed as..

HOW CAN HE BE SO MISOGYNIST... DOES HE THINK SO LITTLE OF YOU / WOMEN ... he thinks men should play the role of Barbie..

99.9% of blokes love to dress up in women’s clothes when they get the opportunity. Look at drag, Priscilla, Rocky Horror etc.
