I mean it's not going to happen.

I do think we need more bank hols to bring in line with other countries. Last minute though can't see it going down well. I understand why, it wouldn't bother me but can see how it would inconvenience others.

Sarina Wiegman is for it apparently. I first heard about this when i saw a tweet to a GMB poll half an hour ago and assumed the Lionesses wouldnt want this because they wouldnt want to see peoples appointments cancelled at short notice Looks like i was wrong..............well in one case anyway.

I'm self employed and bank holidays are a pain in the arse.

Please no... we had loads last year with the royal things!

They are also a pain in the arse for people in professions like care or retail who then have to fork out for cabs to get to work because in many places the buses wont run.

And whats the point in planning appointments and booking a cab in advance only for the rug to get pulled out from under you (if they change their minds about this)

It's a bloody football match, why would it deserve a bank holiday of it's own.

If we have a bank holiday for a women's football match won't the men want a bank holiday if they win theirs?

It's lovely that women's sport is being recognised but having another bank holiday because of things like football matches is just being ridiculous; where does it end?

Rugby World cup starts next month too
