Not keen on Dh’s family, v toxic and full of drama and falling out, my family aren’t perfect, but it’s all quite alien to me. They’re the type who all bitch about each other and make passive aggressive posts on Fb about one another, so weird 😬just don’t want any part of it.
I’ve taken to hiding all his family whenever I post things on my stories (there’s about 8 I have to hide)
Mil has started to ask Dh why they don’t see posts of our Dd from me anymore and what we’re up to 🙄Dh was a bit ‘Hey?’ as I haven’t hidden my posts from him
Aibu to hide them and just not want them nosying into my life? (They we’re always the first ones looking at things as soon as I posted..freaked me out! )

Stop living your life on social media, for a start.

None of my in-laws can see anything I post on Facebook, for similar reasons. Occasionally I’ll post something super boring that they can see, like a lost cat post or something off the local news so it looks like I’m more of a reader than a user. And just say I don’t really use social media that much if they ask.

You just need to make sure your DH doesn’t add a tag to your posts or reshare any of them. It sounds like he might be your Achilles heel in this.
