Is this normal for new piercing

Had my second ear piercing two days, I had my first ones done years ago so not sure. It’s still quite tender and a little itchy, nothing too bad but worried they will get infected I’ve been cleaning them twice a day with a saline solution.

Sounds normal for a new piercing to be like this for a little while but just keep out for any pain and redness and keep up with the after care. Did you get it pierced with a gun or needle?

I had mine done a few months ago (same piercing as yours) and it felt the same. I then used Elastoplast wound spray on them every day, and it worked amazingly well. Had no issues at all!
