Dd12 wants to go thorpe park

With her friends. She wants me to drop her there and then collect her later in the day with her friends. Wwyd!?

her friends and her are sensible I just worry something could go wrong

If you're dropping and collecting her and she's in a group, I'd go with that. There's not much trouble they can really get into without leaving the park and you say they're reasonably sensible. It sounds a good way of giving a bit more independence with very little risk.

Kids go on school trip to theme parks with high school from year 7. Yes there are teachers there but they don't chaperone them round the park. If she has a phone and so do her friends then I say go for it. Make sure phones are charged, and they know to stick together.

It'll be fine. I went round Alton Towers in a small group at 11.

She'll get on like 2 rides though if you mean she wants to go in August!
