Dating a previous FWB

Had a FWB type situation with a guy and then two years after we had the same situation again. I always had feelings for him though but it never went any further even though we were actually quite close and got on really well. I was actually quite upset when it ended the second time because he got into a relationship and I was quite jealous but I didn’t contact him, I just moved on but I did miss seeing him

I haven’t seen him for about two years and he’s single now. he’s been in touch and asked if I want to go on a date and that he wants to treat me. I’ve never been on a proper date with him before, not sure where this has come from. Would you go?

He doesn't see you as proper relationship material. If it is going to upset you when it goes nowhere again, then don't start things up with him.

No, just block him.
Don't let him use you anymore.

I'd talk to him, and ask him what he sees this as being. You need to protect yourself I think.

I would lay it on the line OP, tell him that you'll only go if he doesn't see the evening ending in sex, as the FWB side of things was fun while it lasted, but you're now looking for someone who is prepared to make a commitment, and if that's not what he wants too, then you'd sooner not start seeing him again.

Depends entirely what you want. If you enjoyed the sex with him and would just like more then go ahead. But if you still have feelings for him then steer clear, you might get hurt.
