To have ordered a Barbie doll for myself?

Seeing the Barbie film made me all nostalgic for my childhood Barbies. Unfortunately all of my Barbies got thrown away/donated/lost after moving house when I was a teenager. I managed to find the name of the Barbie doll that was my favourite one growing up and saw one for sale on eBay. I ordered her and she's arrived today. I feel so embarrassed and like I'm regressing, but it means so much to have one again, it's brought back so many memories

When I was little I had a loopy Lou doll and bought another on eBay some years ago.
I later found out that DM kept my original one so I now have two. 😆

I had this one when I was nine. I saved up for sooooo long to buy her (because my dickhead brother stole my money twice!) and I loved her. She had copper wire in her hair to help maintain her style. It of course became a knotty mess instantly, but to me she was Barbie and Olivia Newton John in Xanadu rolled into one.
