Ear piercing

I had my ear pierced quite a few years ago and have had no ear rings in for some time. Today I decided to see if I could still wear them, one went in perfectly fine but the other one goes in almost all the way but the very back has heeled over or it’s scar tissue. Does anybody know how I can get my ear ring in. I’ve heard piercing places won’t re pierce over scar tissue

No idea, and I don't advise you do what I did....but I still have my original studs with the sharp point at the end, sterilised them, wiped my ear with an antiseptic wipe, and pushed it through, it hurt a bit, but worked....again I'm sure this is not advisable, but will give your post a bit of a bump!

This happens to me if I don’t wear earrings for a few weeks. I just shove them through, it’s just a thin layer of skin. You feel it pop and that’s it

Try putting vaseline or Sudocrem on the post and wiggling it through. Or try putting it in from the back. It might hurt a bit. If you get it in, leave it in for a few weeks so it can heal.

A proper piercing studio (tatooist) will reopen. They may just need to stretch it rather than repierce it.
You can't do it again with a gun but a needle will be fine.

I've done the same before. Hurts a bit but nothing major. You can kind of tell how thick the skin is when you push the earring in.

Try after a warm bath and give it a good shove!
