Hey posting for traffic

went to Doc this week as I have been having some bleeding after sex from around jan. Doctor had a look around said everything seems fine she could see no blood and what she called a healthy amount of discharge. i expected some bleeding as I have after sex but there was no bleeding.

is this a good sign? Now I'm wondering has the bleeding been because I haven't been well lubricated my sex drive has been quite low the last few months and tbh I'm kinda just doing it to get it over with and keep DH happy (he doesn't know I haven't been really in the mood)

I would go back and ask for a referral.

bleeding after sex has lots of benign reasons but a doctor cannot tell just by looking.

go back, ask for a referral and then whatever the reason is for it a specialist can help you manage it.

Oh sorry she has referred me as urgent but said it could take up to 3 months

are you up to date on smears?

it’s likely it’s something simple like a cervical ectropian but it’s better to be safe.

also in regards to your sex drive, talk to your husband about it. Nobody should be having sex if they don’t want to.

I had a smear a month ago still waiting on results (it was a year late ) all have been clear so far though.

She said because my last smear in 2018 was within the time frame I'm seen as being up to date with my smears even though it was 4:5 years ago not 3

Hi I’ve been referred to gynaecology today as I had a little bleeding the day after sex. She looked and said my cervix was red. Mentioned cervical etcropian. Did you get your referral in yet ?
