I’ve been chasing some post for about a month now. I’ve had some 3 letters delivered in the last few weeks one of which was dated April. I’m desperately awaiting a credit card that I need to use to pay for the rest of summer because I’m receiving a large lump sum in September but I’ve ran out of money for now. It’s infuriating knowing the cards sat at the mail hub ( with all my other mail) and I’ve got nothing ! Plus there are other letters there for me that I need too. What’s going on with them? Why are they so shit atm? I checked their ‘news ‘ thing and it states there are issues with my area but surely a month? It’s crazy. I’ve spoken to them already and got a generic email sent out.

I have friends who work for RM. It’s understaffed or sometimes staffed by temps (no investment in long term) and the shareholders are getting good profits. It was inevitable.

There has been so many job cuts. Go to your local delivery office with ID and they should have a look for you. I work for RM and we are told to prioritise parcels.

Thank you! I might have to. Would this be the nearest main hub? Or the small local office on the high street? Ones a 15 minute walk and sort of on the way home from where I’m taking DS today so I suppose I’d just try that first. The others a 25 minute drive. I suspect it’s still at the main hub though. They are admitting to problems on the RM service page.

Yep, in Berkshire.

One lady on a local online gossip group said she had gone to the sorting office and the guy had the attitude of if it bothers that much, come and collect yourself!

We haven't had a reliable postal service since we moved here 18-months ago.
We get post on for a week or so then it tails off so you get nothing for 3-4 weeks then bundles of letters come through all in one go.
We have missed insurance dates, hospital appointments, a retirement scheme cut off date and road-tax reminder letter.
Some things you can deal with because you know they are due (like the road-tax for instance) but others, if you don't know they are coming how can you chase it up?

Have complained to RM, gone down the sorting office to collect etc but it just shouldn't be necessary.

Took me ten days to get a debit card. And loads of postboxes now have their last collection in the morning. Hopeless.
