Are you ok with your husband/wife/partner liking bikini pictures?

I was just on Instagram and ended up on one of the Love Island contestant's pages.
There were a few revealing pics of her in a bikini or in underwear, and I was able to see that it was 'liked' by a male acquaintance of mine, who's in a long term relationship and has a 2 year old child.
I know it doesn't mean he's cheating, but I'm not sure how I feel about it really. Sure, we all think others are attractive, but is it necessary to like revealing/almost naked photos? Maybe his partner is ok with it, who knows. I just find it a bit disrespectful.

I dont get 'liking' pics...what does it actually achieve?

I've personally only ever liked something as a way of saving something I like for inspo/showing DP later. I follow the odd fitness account or a TV personality that'll put up some 'hot pics' but I don't press like..I dont see the reason why.
For that reason I guess I wouldn't be too comfortable my DP liking some sexy bikini pics.

Naah it's gross! Neither me or DP would do this. We're probably not normal tho we don't use social media such as Instagram or Facebook etc both find it very toxic! 😂

If you “like” something on Instagram it’s a way of altering your explore feed to show more of the same. It’s like saying “I like this and want to see more things like it”.

I like the photos myself. If a person is looking good then why not give them that positive boost they are looking for? It doesn’t cost me anything to give them a thumbs up

This is the way I feel. It's really juvenile and I find it really pathetic in a way that makes me pity them tbh. Man or woman, whether the person is the same age as you or not, it just makes me think the person needs a hobby or something in their lives.

I'm often putting on tv shows showcasing Pedro Pascal with little/no clothing on, DH just rolls his eyes and laughs at me, and counts it as a bonus if it means I'm more up for sex 😂

I would not be happy if my partner was doing this. I'm not a particularly jealous person either.

If DH did it occasionally I wouldn't mind at all. If he was constantly ogling and liking pictures of women in bikinis then I wouldn't be impressed!
But the odd like is fine. I like sexy photos of certain actors.

It's not about the fact that someone finds other people attractive. I'm sure my husband finds many women attractive. But I find liking pictures of other women or celebrities disrespectful personally.

DH will often show me stuff he's been sent on his WhatsApp group which I either eyeroll or laugh at, it's really no big deal. It's just women showing off and if I looked like that, I'd show off too!

I often like photos/videos of certain people in films I like on Reddit or Instagram. It's not like I'm ever going to meet them, it's just silly teen crush style nonsense. My DH often sees my comments and pokes fun at me by responding with "you've got no chance 🤣😭" etc.

But tbf im commenting on photos of men my age or older, I'm not a 58 year old man commenting on 20 year old love island girls. (I'm in fact a chubby old 40 year old woman commenting on Pedro Pascal/Kayvan Novak/Nick Offerman etc, so very age appropriate)

Not really, to me it’s the same if DH muttered under his breath “phowar” everytime he saw an attractive woman I’d find it unappealing. It’s just not manly to my mind, it’s childish.

I guess my idea of an appealing man is the strong, intelligent competent type, not someone who gets arthritic thumbs from liking pictures on social media.

I'd be more fucked off with my husband for looking at Love Island shit than liking pictures of someone's bethonged buttcheeks. I expect him to enjoy more high brow debauchery.

I don't think I've ever noticed my husband liking these types of pictures. But, I get mega girl crushes and force him to look at insanely good looking women in Instagram all the time - I'm sure he doesn't feel 'forced' to look at them mind you 😂.

We both watch love island together and I think I point out how wonderful Maya Jamas boobies are before he's even noticed 😂😂😂.

On a serious note, I don't think of be bothered if he liked pictures in social media of famous women. I like them too!! But I think I'd lose my head if it were an ex girlfriend or something 👀😭.

I wouldn’t be remotely bothered. Men have looked at beautiful women for thousands of years.
