AIBU to be pissed off at being bombarded with follow up review request emails whenever I buy something online or book a restaurant?! And if I ignore the emails I get 'reminders'! Surely there should be an opt out for them as well as marketing?!

I know what you mean, it's the ones for couriers and delivery drivers that get me most riled, they want you to rate out of 5 but don't tell you that anything less than 5 stars is considered bad/potential sacking offense (whereas logically in an out of 5 rating system 3 should be 'fine/acceptable', 4 should be 'good' and 5 'excellent/outstanding') - often even if you click the 'easy link' to leave 5 stars it then takes you to some elaborate questionnaire where it wants your detailed feedback on every aspect of your experience ordering printing paper/guinea pig medication/a pizza online, I don't know, it was fine, it arrived, it didn't change my life, what do you want me to say?? At least with a restaurant or theatre or similar there's a chance I have something useful to say that can improve their offer or inform other customers (both positive and negative) - although don't get me started on the annoying replies you sometimes get arguing with you if you leave anything less than a glowing report - but with an amazon purchase of some mundane item does anyone remotely care about my 'user experience'??
