Are my uneven eyelids obvious?

I've attached a few photos.
2 of the photos are from when I was in my mind/late 20s so I don't think this is necessarily an ageing thing (I'm early 30s now)
I went to a beauty clinic and an aesthetician 'kindly' pointed it out to me (I never asked her to)
I admit I'd never noticed it before but that's now given me a bit of a complex.
Just wondering if it's obvious, I feel like it is. I know no face is 100% symmetrical but I feel self-conscious.

I've just looked at mine and they're a bit uneven, I think it's just normal and probably looks worse when you hyper focus on it, when in fact no one notices at all!

Definitely not something to worry about. If you start noticing other people's faces to this level of detail you'll start to spot all the symmetry... We don't notice it most of the time though, cos it's just normal and not eye catching at all!

Christy Turlington pointed out her uneven eyes a few years ago in Vogue, and when I looked I could see what she meant, but as she’s considered one of the most beautiful people living, it’s not done her too much harm. If it’s good enough for Christy…

You have lovely eyes (and eyelids!) and she was very rude! I see it because you’ve pointed it out but it doesn’t look odd in the slightest and I would never have noticed otherwise.

I would never have noticed unless you had pointed it out. The lady who pointed it out is studying your face intently, having an uneven feature (like most of us do) is something they must be aware of when administering botox etc because it could make the feature more obvious. I have uneven eyebrows, one arches more than the other. It used to bother me and I had them evened out with botox and hated it. I looked odd and not like me. I love my uneven eyebrows now, it’s my trademark.

You have beautiful eyes and I wouldn’t have noticed if you hadn’t pointed it out. It was quite common to have uneven eyes and asymmetrical features - Angelina Jolie has uneven eyes and I bet you never noticed!

A doctor put on my notes I have bulging eyes, forgot medical word. It really upset me.

most people face’s aren’t symmetrical. I’m an optometrist and we always take measurements from left and right eyes.

you have lovely eyes, I olive the circle around your iris - they actually make contact lenses to try to recreate that.

You have lovely eyes, and I wouldn't have noticed any difference in them if you hadn't mentioned it. My whole eyes are different, one is more narrow, the other more rounded, and not one person has ever commented on it, and it doesn't bother me, although it is quite obvious.

No one's face is symmetrical. My eyes are slightly different too 😀

I'm sorry to PP for what the doctor put, I'm sure that isn't true.
You are right, nobody is totally symmetrical.

What might be noticeable in a still photograph after it's been pointed out will be totally imperceptible when animated. Your face is moving most of the time.

I'm glad you've been reassured OP. If not, have a look around at the multitude of people with arguably less attractive eyes than you have.

I had to look twice before I even realised what you were talking about! I’d say 99% of people wouldn’t even notice unless you pointed it out…you just met one of the 1% who is paid to fix mostly non-existent ‘flaws’! Your eyes are very pretty, that’s what’s people will notice above all.

Yes, BUT only because you pointed it out. Had you posted a photo saying, I dunno, 'do I have nice eyes' or, 'is my eyeliner straight' then nobody would notice. FWIW, mine are the same. Nobody has ever noticed, pointed it out, commented, etc.

Your eyes are stunning . There are a lot of unscrupulous practitioners out there.
I went to a different Dr for Botox a few years back . She asked me if I would like fillers to correct my asymmetrical chin . This was the first of heard of this and I will admit to spending hours checking selfies to see if she was right .
My daughter had Botox in forehead when she was 23 so her make up would sit better ( I know 😫) . The doctor suggested fillers for a few tiny chickenpox scars .
she realized after that , enough is enough

The medical word used was exophthalmos, so I am very paranoid now about my eyes. I'm sorry you were made to feel the same after a comment.

Oh, I would never have noticed in a million years. (I have one eyelid that's lower than the other myself, and mine gets much worse when I'm tired, but I would never have noticed yours at all.)

Also, it's actually not normal to have a perfectly symmetrical face - most people have slight differences on each side. That's why the golden rule with eyebrow shaping is that they should look like 'sisters, but not twins' :)

I have this too :) only realised when I was struggling with winged eyeliner and had a really good look at my eyes 😂 it's super common

Like others I'd only notice if you pointed it out, then I'd forget about and probably never notice again.
