First date in 5 years, help!

tomorrow Im having a first date in 5 years. We met on online dating, we have been speaking every day for a week. All seems fine but Im worried there will be an awkward silence. What do we talk about when it is quiet? Should I wear trousers (rain + cold) or dress? we are going for a coffee… plus Im stressed because I think I look much better on my pictures than in real life and he will be dissapointed

Yes wear trousers because if it’s windy you dont want to be worrying about a dress blowing around.
Try not to think of it as a date, just think that you’re meeting someone new at work and getting to know them, make sure you ask questions aswell about job, family, pets etc. anything to keep the convo going.
Those are the things that have helped me with the nerves over the years, good luck and try to just enjoy it and remember its just a coffee so don’t put too much pressure on yourself.

Get him onto a subject he's interested in, and ask advice/ feign interest if all else fails. Works a treat!
