Shoe Measurer

My partner has bought a shoe measurer but it's measuring all our feet incorrectly, yet they are determined to buy shoes using it.

Am I being unreasonable?

Don’t they know what size feet they have already?

There is not much consistency in sizes between manufacturers. For kids, if you're a 7 in Clarks, then you're a 7.5 in StartRite. Or maybe the other way round.

My shoes are anything from a 7.5 to 9 depending on the type or shoes and who made it.

I'd only commit to buying shoes from the size measured on the gauge, from the same shoe brand as who supplied the gauge.
