To complain about these jeans falling apart?

I bought them 3 months ago and have sewn up multiple holes today. Really they've just had it. Aibu to complain they've lasted such a short amount of time? They were from H&M.

I’d return them.. they aren’t fit for purpose

The crotch ones show it’s completely worn through, it’s not like it’s a faulty seam or anything.
How much do you wear/wash them ? Are they the right size? The holes are all around points of high stress.

If it’s a faulty batch of denim they will have had loads back so know there is an issue so take them back and see what they say.

I was expecting to see seams coming apart

They look worn or damaged through wear/tear

I do have the receipt as they were purchased online. They're my teenage daughters. She has worn them a fair bit but no more than she wears any other favourite items of clothing (when not in school uniform anyway).

I once tried to return some jeans to John Lewis that had a hole in them. This was after they had changed their policy to be really customer unfriendly. They actually stood there and told me denim is a very delicate fabric that should be washed on a delicate wash programme and that you should wear jeans ten times before washing them.

Absolutely gob smacking.
