I bought them 3 months ago and have sewn up multiple holes today. Really they've just had it. Aibu to complain they've lasted such a short amount of time? They were from H&M.

YANBU. Do you have a receipt?

Can I get a full refund? - the first six monthsIf you've owned the item for less than six months, the retailer must give you a full refund if an attempt at a repair or replacement is unsuccessful.

The retailer can't make any deduction from a refund in the first six months.

Faulty product? How to get a refund, repair or replacement - Which?

If an item you've bought develops a fault, your refund rights depend on when you bought it and who is responsible.

I’d return them.. they aren’t fit for purpose

The crotch ones show it’s completely worn through, it’s not like it’s a faulty seam or anything.
How much do you wear/wash them ? Are they the right size? The holes are all around points of high stress.

If it’s a faulty batch of denim they will have had loads back so know there is an issue so take them back and see what they say.

I was expecting to see seams coming apart

They look worn or damaged through wear/tear

I do have the receipt as they were purchased online. They're my teenage daughters. She has worn them a fair bit but no more than she wears any other favourite items of clothing (when not in school uniform anyway).

They're probably a little big if anything.

I once tried to return some jeans to John Lewis that had a hole in them. This was after they had changed their policy to be really customer unfriendly. They actually stood there and told me denim is a very delicate fabric that should be washed on a delicate wash programme and that you should wear jeans ten times before washing them.

Absolutely gob smacking.
