Piling on the annoying disappearing OPs

Not a TAAT more a TAAT’S!

Is it just me who’s annoyed the best posts this week (that we’ve had in long while) eg. the Fam group chat even Kris Jenner would think is too suffocating & the DH who apparently has an overnight ball scratching fetish - whilst the OPs go AWOL after 4-6 posts, the whole of MN carry on for pages handing their arses to them…but they’re long gone…

Unsure if I’m asking the rest of you to stop posting and getting my notifications excited the OP’s back or more likely asking how do we bring them back to sate our judgmental needs - mammas got a few more boots to put in yet…

If a thread interests me so that I click on it and it has, say, 100 replies and the OP is pretty 'meaty' I always check the OPs post rate. Most often it is 1 post then nothing. So I don't bother getting involved. It's so frustrating when they don't come back; it's usually when there are loads of posters disagreeing with the OP. It's becoming very predictable

I think it really depends. I asked what I thought was a straightforward question to people with more experience in the certain area than I have and got some absolutely vile responses claiming stuff that I never said and generally being outraged that I asked a question so yeah my motivation to go back to that is pretty low.

I tend to avoid threads where the OP is a plopper

Sometimes posting ‘Looks like OP isn’t coming back’ when you get the slightest whiff that OP is doing a runner works.

@Peppermint81 click ‘see all’ on the bottom right of any of their posts - it’s basically the first thing I do like @ringoutsolsticebells as I want to see if they’re a Usain Bolt…

@Woodstocks - I can appreciate yours and this weeks disappearing OPs opinion. I had a post once under a different username, that was genuinely just a funny argument my DH and I had had, 80% of the posters ‘got it’ the remaining MN’s were literally baying for my DH dick on a stick 🤣😂 however, in my defence I stuck around til the bitter end. Post and ongoing happy marriage…

YABU to be so invested. At least half of what's posted on here is probably made up anyway.
