Christmas and Halloween stuff in shops!

Home Bargains has Christmas decorations
Asda have Christmas food and Halloween decorations and pyjamas etc

I know they usually start with all this stuff in early September but I don’t think it’s ever been this early before. It’s only the 4th August

Is it cos of the weather? The shitty summer we’ve had, combined with the cost of living? I’m baffled

I saw 'Back to School' displays (in England) in July - before the schools had even broken up.

That's not new - it's been happening since the 80s!

The supermarkets want us to buy tubs of sweets now so that we've eaten them by the end of next week August and have to buy more......
