Who's the A*hole

Small car park. Quite tight parking. A car is touching but not over the white line. The owner of the car parked next to that car decides to pull for ward the card wipers and push in the wing mirrors. Who's the dickhead here the person parked on the white line or the person who messed with another persons car?

Windscreen wipers were pulled forward to alert the car owner to the fact that the wing mirrors had been adjusted?

Both are A-holes.

Parking right on the white line is really annoying and petty. Learn to park in the middle of a space.

Folding out the wipers is equally petty.

A marriage made in heaven!

Not that simple. Depends on how the cars on the surrounding spaces were positioned when that car was parked. I've parked loser to the line than I would like before because the car on the other side is badly parked. Domino effect.

I agree with this. If the only space is one where the car next to you is up to the line sometimes you also have to park up to the line. If they then move and someone else parks central, it might look like you just can't park.

Do NOT go pushing in peoples mirrors.

Some twat keeps doing it to my car but my mirror are AUTOMATIC not manual and they have caused damage. If I catch them doing it again they will be getting a bill.

If a bloody bin wagon and JCB can get down the street with our cars parked (and neighbor has a huge builders van that they have to get by) and zero issue then I certain whoever the twat who thinks they have the right to be touching other peoples cars can manage.

Also my car is here when I'm here, I'm literally meters away in my house, so if there was a genuine issue just ask. I know its not the immediate neighbors (2 in each direction or 2 across the road) or the bin men because we all simply knock on each others doors to ask if someone can drop back if they are too close.

They are both arseholes.

This. If you can't park, find a space further away and walk.

You are. This is mn so it's AIBU and it's ok to fucking swear.

July2025 · 04/08/2023 15:48

Both really?

It tight parking spots like this it is pretty essential to park in the middle of the lines.

Pulling windscreen wipers forward is a slightly dramatic over-reaction. Whispering 'fucking knob' to yourself is quite sufficient.

The person who can’t park centrally in a tight car parking spot.

This it’s just lazy and make sit hard for others. Although the other person had an immature response I’d probably push in wing mirrors but not the wipers.

If it's just the push of a button, why not fold them when you park before leaving the car?

seafronty · 04/08/2023 16:49

Both of them. Pair of a holes.

If it's just the push of a button, why not fold them when you park before leaving the car?

Because there was/is zero need too and now they are damaged so its not 'just a press of a button'.

You are allowed to say arsehole on here.
