SIL is really starting to piss me off.dd has just turned 2 and i'm going to start to look for a playgroup for her so she can start in september, i found one but because it is in road full of council houses SIL is really slagging it off.I grew up on a council estate(so did my and her oh) and couldn't give a fuck but she is so far up her own bloody arse.
Yeaterday i started chatting to a lady from another parenting site that lives just round the corner on a council estate and she says you cannot be friends and go round there its too rough.I feel like telling her to fuck off but cant as oh works with her oh.I have no bloody friends and she never invites me to the classes she takes her dd to with her posh friends.I just want to make friends with people i dont care where they live.

She is an idiot and a snob.

Stay away from her. If the nursery is right for your child it doesn't matter where it is as long as it is clean, safe and fun for the child to be there.

As for friends, very few of us have enough so make them where you can and enjoy them.

YANBU.

To be fair, she probably has a point

Mine is cross all the fuckin time.

I have a feeling it is the 10ft pole rammed up her arse.

To be fair I have 4 SILs. I just don't like about 3 of them....

WallOfSilence · 27/02/2008 12:07

Once your DD starts playgroup you will meet loads of new friends, and your SIL and her comments will become a distant memory.
