Leaving Dd, 5 with a babysitter for the first time properly (she’s had the same sitter a couple of times in the day for a couple of hours)
She will come from around 5.30-9.15, I will make Dd dinner before she comes and leave out popcorn, drinks, nachos, dips for a movie night my Dd wants.
Does this seem ok to leave out for them both for 4 ish hours?

That sounds fine. Just make sure that the babysitter knows to eat her dinner before arriving, just to be really clear.

@TrundleWheel76 Would the sitter expect a dinner to be made for her here?

No, I just meant for absolute clarity as the timings cover normal dinner time for most people.

@TrundleWheel76 Yes true

Sounds fine to me......if you're really worried leave a cheap, frozen pizza for the sitter in case she misses dinner or feels peckish.
