Is it just me or does the TV vet for Petplan look like he’s either had a rough night or is actually drunk still? He’s so dishevelled!

He hasn't slept in about 10'000 years, functions on caffeine and alcohol and shouting at people.

He has a TV series called The Supervet, @Pontiouspilate.

He comes across as an absolute arsehole with a God complex.

I still can't get over that Britney Spears' song Toxic was written about him.

I work in veterinary and we are local (ish) and it's rumoured it's common knowledge that he likes a sniff of the ol' white stuff if you know what I mean. Most vets don't really like him and think he's arrogant. Also, rumours that he's "handsy" with staff.

He's also in a horror movie called Ghost Ship.

It's rumoured to be about him because the person who wrote it broke up with him the same year she wrote the song (I think)

The song writer, Cathy Dennis is his ex girlfriend

It was co-written by Cathy Dennis, who dated him around 2003.

He’s a troubled man. He had an abusive childhood (talked about publicly) and has gone on to work himself to death to the exclusion of any normal
relationships/ friendships. He’s done a lot of good for animals but he’s not a happy man.

I also think it's very ironic that as the guy who pioneered prosthetic limbs for animals he then goes on to endorse Petplan pet insurance......which specifically excludes prosthetics!

I used to work in the veterinary field and I've heard he's an arse who sleeps with the locum nurses. He's very clever but he goes too far and gives people false hope. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should

I know someone who worked for him plus a fair number of people involved in animal related telly programs.

Wow. Fascinating! We are close by and my kids think he is great but I’ll never look at him the same way at a dog show again 😳

His surgery saved my cat - had only just adopted him 2 months before he was at death's door. Was sent there by local vet who said he had one last chance (they were going to pull the plug. Now he's thriving terrrorising next door's dog. Whatever his personal life is, I'm thankful for his practice. And Petplan insurance helped!

My instinctive response to the advert is “don’t you have enough bloody money” from the excellent, but expensive veterinary practice, the multiple successful TV series and best selling books? 🤷‍♀️
